Self-Taught Artist

I was born and raised on a farm outside of Seven Valleys, PA. This amazing place was the framework of my life, building character, while I was instilled with good values and useful skills that carried me into my adult years. My family is my greatest asset as they continue to encourage me with my talents.

It all started as a young child, I used to watch my father paint on a very large canvas in his art studio. This memory along with my personal experience as I observed nature, sketched what I saw, and painted at the farm has gifted me with a passion for painting, especially the large palette. The challenge of designing and carrying to completion a wall mural, is my Passion.

I graduated from York Vocational Technical High School where I had completed 2 years of Commercial Art. Later on, I was awarded a home study art scholarship, and volunteered at a local elementary school, while raising my family. It has been over 30 years since I painted my very first mural in a small town near my home. Today I am still painting murals as well as a variety of artwork for my clients. I also enjoy teaching and instructing students in private or group Paint Night classes.

I love nature, weathered old barns and historic buildings, the untouched landscape, especially the mountains and forests with those timeless, ancient trees. The outdoors are a great inspiration for drawing and Plein Air painting.  My goal someday is to have an art studio in a tree house!

I'm looking forward to meeting you, and sharing my gift.

Sincerely,

Lisé C. Miller
